Pant Is Set To Make Comeback In IPl, Know His Updates.

Rishabh pant is all set to return till the end of march, as he will be leading his side (Delhi Capitals) in Tata IPL 2024. He might appear in the first match of Delhi vs Punjab (Punjab Kings) in IPL. Recently, on march 12, BCCI gave the clearance to Rishabh Pant to play in IPL for his franchise. He will be playing as wicket-keeper batsman to his side. A month before his clearance from BCCI, Parth Jindal (co-owner of Delhi Capitals) announced Pant as the Captain of his side.

WHAT DID HAPPENED WITH PANT BEFORE ?   

After a rigorous and brutal car accident of Rishabh Pant in December 2022, while going to meet his relatives in Roorkee. The accident took place on the Delhi-Dehradun highway and Pant was brutally injured. After this accident, everyone lost hope including Pant about his cricketing career. He underwent a number of surgeries relating to his knee injury and after a gap of more than a year he is all set to make a comeback in IPL.  

Pant will keep an eye on the mega event going to happen in June (T20 World Cup). He might be selected as a keeper-batsman, according to his performance based on IPL. Before his injury he was the first choice as a keeper-batsman for the Indian National Cricket Team. His injury left the Indian side with many consequences. His last appearance was in the Test series against Bangladesh in December 2022. 

APART FROM PANT MANY INDIAN PLAYERS ARE INJURED AND RULED OUT OF IPL 2024. 

Mohammed Shami has been ruled out of IPL 2024 because of his Ankle injury, this great bowler used to take injections for relief and to play World cup matches. His last appearance was in the finals against Australia at Ahmedabad. The BCCI officials have confirmed that Surgery for his ankle injury is essential and he could also miss The T20 World Cup 2024.

Prasidh Krishna, this young pacer has also been ruled out  of IPL because of his surgery of Quadricep tendon. His injury came while playing a Ranji Trophy match.
