Streaming Delights : New Big releases on OTT platforms.

The anticipation of fans ended with the big releases in the year 2024. The movies which lit up the fans by their storylines and stellar performances in cinema have now been brought to OTT platforms. By these releases on OTT, it solidified  as a must watch in the zone of online movie streaming. In March, it welcomed some sensational movies with some long shots and web series as well.

Here are the best movies and web series  to add on your watchlist in respect to their OTT platforms and also the movies and web series which are released or will be released soon. 

Hanuman

Starring Teja Sajja as protagonist (Hanumanthu) with Amritha Aiyer as actress ( Meenakshi). The story revolves around Hanumanthu , who lives in Anjanadri. He gains special power and decides to save  his village from all the evil entities. This movie impressed many audiences with its direction by Prasanth Verma. This movie has been released on Jio cinema on march 16. 

Merry christmas 

Directed by Sriram Raghavan and Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif as lead casts, it failed to impress audiences in cinemas. But it can result in a long shot in OTT. This movie revolves around the storyline of meeting two strangers on christmas eve. This movie is released on Netflix on March 8.

Ae watan mere watan 

Starring Sara Ali khan as lead role. This movie’s plot is set in the pre-independence era, on the life of Usha Mehta, who stood against the britishers and set up a radio station in early 1940s. This movie is directed by Kannan Iyer. This movie has been released on Prime video on March 21.

Mamla legal hai

Mamla legal hai was released on netflix on 1 march. This series has covered the real gem actors of India in one plot. The series’ main casts include Ravi Kishan, Yashpal Sharma, Nidhi Bisht with the direction of Rahul Pandey. This series shares the funny story of lawyer’s  dealing with the brokers in Patparangj court. 

Maharani 3

A much awaited series of Huma Qureshi has been released on Sony Liv on march 7. It also casts Amit sial, Vineet kumar, Pramod pathak and kani kusruti as lead roles. This series’ plot is set in the 1990s in Bihar with the true political events happened.

Sunflower S2

This series will focus on the investigation of the death of a mr. kapoor in the society with the suspects on many visitors. Adah sharma, Ashish Vidhyarthi, Ranvir Shorey and Radhika Bhatt as lead roles in this series. This series has been released on Zee 5 on march 1.

Eagle 

This movie is an Indian-Telugu action thriller film with star casting of Ravi Teja, kavya Thapar, Anupama Parameswaram, Madhoo and Vinay Rai in lead roles. This movie was released on March 2 on Prime Video. 

Fighter

This movie’s plot revolves around the members of the Indian Air Force who truly protect the lives of his country. This movie stars Hrithik Roushan, Deepika Padukone and Anil kapoor in the lead roles. This movie has been released on Netflix on March 21.
